Objective

The objective of this campaign was to create talk-ability of our communication expression to connect Engro with PSL “Engineering Excellence” during PSL 2019. The idea was to make the association of Engro & Quetta Gladiators stronger through social and digital media presence.

Business Challenge

Our challenge was to break the clutter of communication and trends going on around the social media during PSL season.

Strategy

We identified the most followed influencers on social media (specifically on Twitter) and with the help of them we started creating conversations during the Quetta Gladiator’s matches and create a noticeable talkablity of the hashtag. Through this seeded content creatively designed ads were shared to bring connection to engro’s businesses with the cricketing world. Implementation of the campaign attracted huge interest in general public and the official hashtag started trending despite huge clutter during peak cricket season.

Result

With a combination of media content totaling of 2470 and 2889 tweets, the campaign successfully managed to gain 3246K total reach and 5165K impressions.
